Lift assembly on PE pit

Perfection down to the very last detail - this is the mission statement of TechnoAlpin. Even for the pits, therefore, the company wanted to provide a solution which sets new standards. This wish was granted with the launch of the PE pit. The PE pit was installed in bulk for the first time in summer 2010 using the lightweight mode of construction. Another application has now been added to the PE pit in response to the growing demand.
It is now possible, due to a mounting column duly designed and dimensioned to meet all the structural requirements, to rig up a 3.5 m lift for any TechnoAlpin fan gun. So the ultra-lightweight PE pit once again proves its flexibility and stability.
Other features which are making a key contribution to the product's increasing success include its resistance to water ingress, its good insulation properties and the fact that the pit can be completely preassembled.
Designed on the "sandwich principle", the pit is made of high-quality materials like high-density R200 linear polyethylene for the outer and inner skin and a light galvanized sheet steel structure for the reinforcement. Polyurethane foam is used to fill the cavities and to reinforce the structure, resulting in thin walls and keeping the total weight down to just 260 kg. As such, it is possible to transport several pits in one helicopter run.
Like all TechnoAlpin pits, the PE pit also has the facility for the installation of a Hydromat, a valve block or air/water valves. There is also space for the installation of a socket to loop through a power cable of up to 4x 240 mm². Entrance hatch, aluminum ladder, pit heating and lighting all come as part of the standard package.
