T40 on permanent assignment

The first winter has come early for the T40. The newest fan gun to leave the TechnoAlpin premises is making its debut appearance in the ski resorts this winter. Positive feedback and fantastic pictures of the snow are already pouring in from all over Europe.
Reports coming in from Hafjell in Norway, for example, express very high levels of satisfaction and suggest that this could be the best machine the resort has ever had. In Stubaital (AUT) the first T40 was put into operation at the end of September. Professional skiers from various nations have been in preparation here for the upcoming racing season. Bormio (ITA) has also seen the T40 in action for a few days. The feedback from the World Cup venue? - Absolutely fantastic!
The T40 is the successor to the M18 and thus combines established and proven technology with cutting-edge innovation. For example, in this latest development TechnoAlpin has kept the wear-resistant Quadrijet nozzles with ceramic insert. The nozzle support is a new feature, however, and has been designed to facilitate access to the heating resistor and to optimize the water throughput. Changes have been made to the water filter as well. The use of the wedge wire profile means that the filter insert no longer has a weld seam, making it much stronger and also easier to clean.
Not obvious at first glance - and yet all the more significant for it - is the reduction in size and weight. Having slimmed down to 600 kg, the machine has full flight capability. The T40 is also available as an arm-mounted installation in standard lengths of 10 m and 6 m. It can also be mounted on a tower at a height of 1.6 m or on a lift at a height of 3.5 m or 4.5 m.
