The 1000th fan gun heads for Folgaria
TechnoAlpin's production lines are currently a hive of activity, with all the snow guns on order having to be manufactured and loaded at lightning speed before the season starts. Despite the rush however, the workforce recently still had time to celebrate the completion of the 1000th fan gun of the season.
"The fact that once again this year we've reached the 1000 mark is naturally a source of pleasure to us and a reason to be proud. Ultimately there's no better proof of the confidence customers have in us", says Managing Director Eric Gummerer delightedly.
The 1000th fan gun is a type T40 introduced onto the market in spring of this year, and was supplied to the Trento ski resort of Folgaria Ski (ITA). A special plaque was attached to it before it was loaded, and a small delegation consisting of Christoph Ganthaler and Martin Gamberoni, the sales manager for the area, travelled to Folgaria to officially hand it over. It was accepted by the president of the ski resort, Remo Cappelletti and the technical director Dimitri Muraro, who were delighted with the surprise. The 1000th fan gun is one of 107 new snow guns used in the ski resort.
With so much work to be done, the production team in Bolzano didn't celebrate for long. The 51 employees are currently having to produce around 150 snow guns (60 fan guns and 90 snow lances) a week to fulfill all orders on time.
