Hochzeiger: most improved resort of 2010

As every year, the ADAC SkiGuide has once again analyzed and evaluated the various types Alpine regions where winter sports are practiced. And this time round, the greatly sought-after title of 'Most improved resort of the year' has been awarded to the Hochzeiger ski resort in Pitztal, Tyrol. TechnoAlpin congratulates their client on this excellent result!
In Hochzeiger, summer 2009 was a busy one. 12 million euros were invested in the Pitztal ski resort', with the new 'Zirbenbahn' cablecar on the slopes of Sechszeiger forming the heart. This modern 6-seater chairlift leads up to one of the region's most beautiful panoramic viewpoints at 2,395 meters above sea level. Once at the mountain station, two new red runs await skiers and snowboarders: the three-kilometer long 'Zirben' slope and a panoramic descent stretching out for four kilometers with views over the Inn valley, together taking the resort from a total of 45 to 52 kilometers. And with the increased reservoir lake from 40,000 to 105,000 m³, the coming winter can be served by 64 rather than 22 snow canons.
The snow generators present on Hochzeiger are mainly TechnoAlpin manufacture. Following the summer 2009 increases, the resort now features the following 'yellow' fans:
5x M20
23x T60 mobil
3x T60 on 4.5 m lift
Thanks to the great many improvements made, the ADAC SkiGuide has chosen the Hochzeiger area as the most improved resort for the 2009/10 season and TechnoAlpin is therefore proud to offer their client their most heartfelt congratulations!
