TechnoAlpin on the move
At long last TechnoAlpin has begun the long awaited move into its new headquarters. The first members of staff have been working in the new building since August 16. The first part to be relocated to Bolzano was the "Wurza" store, which had been situated near to Leifers (ITA) around six kilometers south of Bolzano. It is now the turn of the office staff in the next phase.
Despite the stress of moving, the employees are looking forward to working in the new premises in the Bolzano industrial park. The space situation was becoming increasingly problematic in the existing building. Having the work spread over five different sites further exacerbated the problem. Things can only get better now. All the employees will be back under one roof in the new headquarters. The new building has slightly less floor space than the total area of all the previous sites put together, but the available space has been used more effectively. Efficiency can also be increased by taking out the distance factor.
