Training courses prove a big hit
Every year the TechnoAlpin service department organizes a broad-ranging training program with several course modules, and this year was no exception. The aim of Module 1, for example, was to outline how the snow guns are designed and constructed and to explain how the systems work. In Module 2 the focus was on the electrical details of the machines. Finally the inspection training course covers all the inspection work which needs to be carried out on the snow guns and on the entire system at the end of the snow season.
The instructors received widespread praise for their input. The new training room was felt to be a real added bonus this year and an all-round asset. It was at the top of the wish list when the new headquarters were built. The evening events were also very popular, providing an opportunity for the trainees and instructors to get together and socialize and have a chat.
The training courses ran from March to mid-June this year. Around 170 people came to Bolzano to attend the two-day modules. They came from seven different countries including France, the USA, Austria and Slovakia.
Needless to say, another training series is planned for the coming year.
