Skilift Pany to invest in guaranteed snow

Last year, some of the Swiss ski resorts waited in vain for snow to fall. Only ski resorts with snow-making systems were able to guarantee staying open for business all winter. So things are busy again this year with systems being installed all over Switzerland. "TechnoAlpin Schweiz AG has some particularly exciting assignments again this year", said Remo Bulgheroni, manager of TechnoAlpin Switzerland, "and we are especially proud of the breadth of the projects - ranging from large players in the season ticket network right through to the small family ski resort".
One of the new, highly-rated customers at TechnoAlpin Schweiz AG is Skilift Pany, a skiing service provider in the east of Switzerland. Although Skilift Pany is clearly in the 'small but select' category with one ski lift and four slopes, the snow-making system has been designed with the potential for further expansion. TechnoAlpin is known for its long-term and flexible solutions and this case was no exception, giving particular consideration to the local circumstances. The system is controlled by the ATASSplus software which guarantees careful management of resources. The snow guns are supplied as standard with flow rate limitation configuration capability. Optimum use is thus made of the limited water resources at the disposal of Skilift Pany at any temperature. ATASSplus also supports the analysis of all data. Temperature trends, water consumption and operating hours can easily be recorded. Another key reason for choosing TechnoAlpin was the strength of the snow experts in borderline temperatures. The Skilift Pany valley station sits at 1330 m while the mountain station is located at an altitude of 1550 m. And from next season, two T40 and four V3 lances will guarantee fun on the slopes in the family ski resort, even at borderline temperatures. The pumping plant has an output of 110 kW and is also being supplied by TechnoAlpin.
