All Company Meeting May 2016
May 9th through the 13th TechnoAlpin USA Inc. held its annual All Company Meeting. The trigger for the meeting is our corporate commitment to safety. Once each year we bring the whole North American team back to Denver for a full day of safety awareness training conducted for us by nationally known Lancaster Safety Consulting Inc. LSCI audits our workplace and safety practices and then builds an educational program around the goals of the company. Accidents can happen of course, but TechnoAlpin USA Inc. is proud to have achieved a perfect safety record and an accident free workplace for many, many years. As LSCI reminds us, safety is no accident and we take that to heart.
The trip back to the Denver mothership creates opportunities for a week long series of meetings, training and team building experiences. 2/3’s of our people, sales managers, field service technician’s etc. work from the field so the All Company meeting is an opportunity to get to know our remote colleagues. Service Manager Buster Saunders spent a day with his newly expanded team reviewing the season and previewing the things his team will accomplish in the coming year, including a push to bring more customers on board with service contracts. National Sales Manager Steve Daly brought the whole team up to date on the selling season just concluded and surprised us all in announcing that we had exceeded our sales goals.
Traditional during the all company meeting is a team building activity. We’ve been to baseball games, NHL hockey games, perhaps to remind us why Italian drivers are feared around the world we have been go carting several times. And yes, the Italians often win. This year we went bowling. It didn’t take long to figure out whose idea this must have been because it became clear that a few of our group had been bowling (a lot) before. Eric Bengtson was high scorer but he had company on the leader board.
