Great success for the 2014 training sessions
The 2014 technical training courses are meeting a great success among the North American customers of TechnoAlpin USA. Over the course of the first semester of 2014, already three training sessions have been organized across the country, in Denver (CO), Sundwon (IA) and Hidden Valley (PA).
The team of TechnoAlpin USA welcomed and trained around 100 people during these first 3 sessions, which last for 2 days. In order to give a complete and in-depth overview to the attendees, the sessions combine class-room discussion, as well as hands-on training.
This makes possible to address a variety of technical topics, both theoretical and practical, while keeping the training lively, alternating discussions and hands-on exercises. Whether in Denver, in TechnoAlpin USA's office or on customer sites, attendees will be able to manipulate real equipment, valves, snow guns etc.
On the practical side, attendees have had the opportunity to review the basic set up of snow production equipment, the snow guns' operations, or the maintenance operations on hydrant, Hydromat and Emotor.
On the class-room side, attendees could discuss and learn about electrical cabinets, basic electronics and sensor functions, troubleshooting process, as well as ATASS and Liberty communication and applications and summer service maintenance...among other topics.
Needless to say that technical trainings represent a very useful tool at the service if ski area operators. It enables the operators of the snowmaking equipment to gain a comprehensive understanding of their systems and take full ownership of their snow production facilities. This helps them also to become more autonomous and proficient in case of technical issues arising during the snow production season. This is something that was very well understood by ski area operators last year, as TechnoAlpin USA has trained a total of 170 people.
