Quality first at TechnoAlpin!
"Quality is never an accident." John Ruskin
That is the motto that guides our Quality Assurance department in its daily work, which covers the complete production process, from incoming goods to final inspection of the finished snow guns.
Incoming goods inspections are an especially important item. The objective is to ensure that any components that fail to meet specifications 100 percent are rejected before they reach the assembly lines. Random samples are taken and checked against the drawings using electronic measuring equipment, and additional components are selected for assembly testing.
Facts and figures:
For the 2008/2009 season, incoming goods totaled 1,983 articles comprising 657,505 individual parts.
Out of this total, 8,211 random samples were taken.
Of the 657,505 individual parts, 12,655 failed to pass our incoming goods inspection procedures. That is a rejection rate of 2 percent.
The results of the final inspections performed on the finished snow guns are fed back into the production process to ensure a continuous increase in our quality standards.
TechnoAlpin guarantees a full quality management program in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 and 14001:2004. The principles and standards laid down in those codes ensure that TechnoAlpin products are always top-quality products.
