TechnoAlpin headquarters will be inaugurated in September
Just over a year ago, the foundation stone was laid in Bolzano for the new headquarters of TechnoAlpin. Within the shortest time, the innovative production plant in the "Via Einstein Sud e Via Aeroporto" industrial park grew out of the ground. The completion of the work is now imminent. By June, the first of around 150 TechnoAlpin employees will have already relocated. Now, the date is set for the official inauguration. On Saturday, 11 September 2010, the new heart of the company will be inaugurated with a ceremony. After this, the production and storage halls, the test system, training and office premises, etc. can be viewed.
Employees, customers and visitors can look forward to a building that not only has a great deal to offer in terms of appearance. A team, comprised of architect, Veneri-Willeit-Niederstätter and architect, Roland Baldi from Bolzano, was appointed with the architectural planning. The order for the statics planning went to the Holzner engineering firm from Lana.
The large project, with a total volume of approx. 140,000 m³ and a building height of 20 meters, captivates through its clear building shape. The building shell, made of white profile glass is certainly unique in Europe, in terms of its size. The uniform white and translucent façade and not least, the clear shape of the building, create a symbolic reference to snow: indeed, the building looks as though it's made of snow.
A visit, therefore, is definitely worthwhile on 11 September 2010. We look forward to seeing you there!
