TL6 – 2 steps ahead
Innovation is one of the key markers of TechnoAlpin, which has offered to the market the most innovative and most efficient equipment. And again this year, TechnoAlpin has demonstrated with the official launch of its new lance, the TL6. This new snow gun positions the company two steps ahead, both in terms of technology, with combinations of additional output over conventional lances and regarding the competition, as the TL6 condenses many innovative features!
TL6 – Hi-tech regulation
After a pre-production season 2014/2015 and the latest enhancements to the model by our R&D team, the TL6 is now mass produced and offered to all customers. With the TL6 TechnoAlpin goes further in improving air and water technology. This new snow gun makes it possible both to optimize the production performance in the marginal ranges as well as colder temperatures, without changing the nozzle configuration.
A breakthrough made possible by the 4 steps that offer 6 different flow combinations. The opening and closing of the nozzle and the control of the various combinations are provided by a motor housed in the head of the snow gun. With this powerhead, the TL6 of equipment is simplified: only one shelter valve and no need for an aerial block valve for the different steps.
With six possible combinations of flow rate, the TL6 covers a much larger output range than conventional lances. It is also characterized by the quality of the snow it produces. This optimal result is achieved principally by the latest generation nucleators, and by the shape of the head inherited from the proven technology of the Rubis Evolution.
Efficiency and Reliability
These nucleators are notably characterized by low air consumption that allows the TL6 to be one of the most efficient in the market. Furthermore, in the absence of air for the nucleation, their design prevents water from returning into the air circuit. A heating system prevents ice from forming on the head, even in extreme cold. During the closing phase, steps automatically purge the residual water contained therein. This ensures consistently high quality snow and it avoids freezing up the head of the snow gun.
The TL6 lance also set new standards in ease of use. The new support consists of a fixed column, a rotating column, a rotational joint and a hydraulic cylinder, for adjusting the height. The rotating joint thus enables the mats to be fully lowered without disconnecting the air and water hoses. Maintenance is much simpler. The support comes also with an optional filter.
Positive customer feedback!
During the lastet 2014/2015 winter season, the resort of Valdelinares (Spain) was able to test a series of TL6. Francisco Monforte Gargallo, head of the snowmaking of the Spanish ski resort, said he was very satisfied with the new snow gun from TechnoAlpin: "One of the strengths of this snow gun is its production curve. That's not all: there’s no ice forming on the head of the lance and the automatic drain of the nozzles avoids wasting water. This year, although we have bought several additional TechnoAlpin snow guns, the power consumption needed to run all of them did not increase. "
Another strong sign that TechnoAlpin products fully meet the expectations and new challenges of the operating ski areas are facing!
