The Snowmaker Days in Australia and New Zealand were a resounding success.
After a tough two years with the pandemic, the TechnoAlpin Snowmaker Days were finally reintroduced in Australia and New Zealand on 16 and 23 September. Over 60 participants met in the ski resorts of Thredbo Resort (AUS) and Treble Cone (NZL) to learn all about TechnoAlpin’s latest products and services.
Area Manager, Simon Wolkan, and Project Manager, Manuel Schöpf introduced the TT series - the first fan guns with a tiltable tower. Earlier this year, the TT9 - the second largest turbine - was released to complement the TT10 launched back in 2021. Participants enthused over the novel tiltable tower in the TT series. It combines the advantages of a tower-mounted machine with the straightforward maintenance of a mobile fan-based snow gun.
Snow enthusiasts were very impressed with the TL series, which also boasted a newcomer in the guise of the TL4 Double in early 2022.
There have been lots of changes just recently, and not only in terms of snow gun development. The functions and user friendliness of ATASSpro software are also constantly being improved. These innovations were also presented to participants. TechnoAlpin’s comprehensive customer service was also outlined and delegates received important tips on how to maintain the snowmaking system during the summer months.
In addition to the more informative part of the event, participants were also able to share their experiences from the previous snowmaking season. A tour of the winter sports resorts on skis was obviously not to be missed. The Australia and New Zealand Snowmaker Days then drew to a close with a cosy dinner in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
