Annual meeting with snow-makers
This year too, TechnoAlpin has organised meetings with Swiss, Italian, Austrian and German snow-makers. The aim of these meetings is to inform and update snow-makers and technical managers on the various services that TechnoAlpin offers, to make their systems even more efficient.
This winter, TechnoAlpin organised two different meetings, one at Davos Parsenn with the Swiss snow-makers and one at the Austrian resort in Ischgl, attended by technicians from Austria, Germany and Italy.
Over the course of the two days, TechnoAlpin staff held some mini conferences on issues of interest.
Among the topics addressed was the revolutionary ATASSplus control software, the latest update of which was recently released. This year's update contains an interesting tool, to which a specific conference was dedicated: the open interface with snow height measurement systems. This measurement, displayed in the control software, permits the snow-making technician to identify the areas in which to produce technical snow from the computer, as well as monitor the quantity required and omit the areas of the slope which already have enough snow. In addition, our technicians dealt with issues relating to pump stations and their maintenance, as well as overhauling fan guns. As well as the considerable cost savings, annual maintenance ensures the correct operation of the snow-making system, which will be in perfect condition right from the start of the following season. Clients also had the chance to visit the two resorts and inspect their snow-making systems.
Below is a small gallery summing up the two days that clients spent together with TechnoAlpin.
