Madonna di Campiglio returns to the World Cup
After six years out of the Ski World Cup circuit, the slalom is returning to the 3Tre slope, along the Miramonti canal at Madonna di Campiglio (ITA). On Tuesday, December 18, the long awaited return will be celebrated: in the Trentino location of the Branta Dolomites, the winter season will be particularly welcome this year. Madonna di Campiglio intends to renew its long sports tradition in the best of ways and, for this reason, we are working hard to prepare the slope in the best possible ways. That is to say that TechnoAlpin guns will ensure optimal snow for the entire duration of the event. Thanks to the optimum temperatures of the last few weeks, the continuous snowfall and the great work of the snow-making technicians, the slope is officially ready to welcome the slalom championship races.
Madonna di Campiglio is hosting the only slalom event in Italy. The competition on the 3Tre was also confirmed by the FIS in the World Cup calendar for 2014 and 2016.
The Madonna di Campiglio leg is included in the two Italian weeks of the Mens Ski World Cup, after the events in Val Gardena (December 14-15, Downhill and SuperG), in Alta Badia (December 16, Giant Slalom) and Bormio (December 29, Downhill).
