Once again, TechnoAlpin raises standards in snow-making Technology
Since its foundation 25 years ago, the key to TechnoAlpin’s success has been its ongoing pursuit of innovation and efficiency. After the fusion with MYNEIGE in 2012, TechnoAlpin
now boasts two centers of excellence for research and development. Thus the know-how held by the international leader for fan-gun production was merged with that of the forerunner in
lance-production. The result is impressive: this year two new products will be placed on the market, officially unveiled during the Interalpin fair.
TL6 – a new principle of regulation
The lance department has optimised the TL6 model, which is now ready for standardized production. The TL6 lance has totally new technology that takes advantage of its strengths at both marginal and optimal temperatures. This is possible through the use of 4 nozzle rings that offer up to 6 adjustable stages. The nozzles are opened and closed, and the various combinations controlled by a motor housed in the lance head. With this motorized head, the TL6 can forego complex lance valve and pit solutions.
Thanks to the 6 possible combinations, the TL6 covers a much wider range of production than conventional lances and stands out for the quality of the snow produced. Optimal performance
is achieved by cutting edge nucleators and by the shape of the certified Rubis Evolution heads.
Efficient and reliable
The nucleators stand out above all for their low air consumption which makes this one of the most efficient lances on the market. In addition, in the absence of nucleation air, their design prevents any water backflow into the air circuit. A special heating system prevents ice formation on the head, even in extremely cold weather. Closing the nozzles automatically empties all water out of the nozzle ring. This ensures that the snow produced is always of high quality and, at the same time, prevents ice from forming on the lance. The TL6 lance also sets new standards for easy use. The new structure is composed of a fixed base, a rotating column and an optional hydraulic cylinder to regulate height. Thus the lance can be lowered all the way without removing the air and water hoses. Maintenance is so much simpler. The structure can also accommodate an optional filter.
TF10 Piano – more power, less noise
TechnoAlpin is extending its range of fan guns this year with the addition of the TF10 Piano. It combines the merits of the TF10 with additional sound insulation and the option of speed reduction.
In launching the TF10, TechnoAlpin has once again raised the bar in the field of snow-making systems. The enormous snow output, both in borderline conditions and at cold temperatures, the vast projection range and the integrated pivot mechanism make the TF10 the top-selling fan gun in the TechnoAlpin range. The feedback after two years is amazing. Customers all over the world had been very pleasantly surprised by the low noise level of the TF10. Thanks to its internal motor and rotational speed of 1460 rpm, the TF10 boasts reduced noise emission and a low-impact frequency.
Now the engineering department at TechnoAlpin has gone one step further with the introduction of the TF10 Piano. A new sound insulation cladding absorbs the noise made by the turbine. The compressor is naturally oil-free and has modified air filters and a sealed soundproof cover providing additional noise insulation. In particularly sensitive areas the TF10 Piano can be operated at partial load thanks to an inverter integrated in the electric cabinet. The motor speed is then reduced from 1460 rpm to 1170 rpm.
The TF10 Piano also features tried and tested components, such as the quadrijet nozzles with ceramic insert, the seamless wedge wire water fi lter made of nickel chromium steel and the menu-driven color display, ensuring operational reliability and TechnoAlpin user-friendliness. The integrated rotating mechanism has an automatic pivoting angle of 180° degrees, allowing the snow to be distributed over a wide area and thereby signifi cantly reducing the amount of slope preparation and snow grooming work. This also reduces the noise nuisance from vehicles during slope preparation.
