TechnoAlpin, partner of the 2015 Biathlon World Championships
From 5 to 15 March, the 2015 Biathlon World Championships took place in Kontiolahti, Finland. The highlight of the winter season, the event coincides with the penultimate stage of the World Cup. Unlike what generally happens in the FIS disciplines, the races in the Biathlon World Championships are also valid for the World Cup. As a result, in addition to the medals, points were also awarded for the race for the Crystal Ball, making the competitors' final position, aside from the podium, extremely important. All of this made these World Championships even more competitive and appealing. And not just the competitions, even the organization and other events held were a great success.
For many years now, TechnoAlpin has supported the organizers of major events such as the Winter Olympics or Alpine, Nordic or Biathlon World Ski Championships: in the past, the snow experts have guaranteed snow during the Olympics, including in Sochi (Russia) last year. TechnoAlpin is therefore proud to have been an official partner once again in a global competition such as the Kontiolahti 2015 Biathlon World Championships.
