Customers in 39 countries worldwide: a logistics challenge for TechnoAlpin

An outsider might think that the work of the Logistics Department at TechnoAlpin is basically very simple: customers place their orders and TechnoAlpin delivers the goods. But in fact the department is confronted every day with the challenge of mastering the countless aspects of a global logistics system, finding the optimum solution for every shipment while doing full justice to the requirements of TechnoAlpin and above all of our customers.

Our people in the Logistics Department have the know-how needed to understand or foresee the circumstances that relate to the transportation and unloading processes, all the more so as TechnoAlpin’s customers are often located in areas where access is difficult. Above all, the risks must be reduced to a minimum, and every shipment is accordingly analyzed down to the last detail. Our Logistics experts take account of both the specifics of the mode of transport selected (ship, plane, truck) and the various import regimes and customs regulations of the destination and transit countries involved (e.g. Australia, Serbia, Argentina) as well as special requirements such as express delivery. The team has a wealth of experience derived from the countless shipments handled – including 3,000 in 2008 alone – to countries as far apart as Australia and New Zealand, China, Korea and Mongolia on the one hand and the USA, Canada and South America on the other, with all the products safely packed and stowed in containers. TechnoAlpin fan guns and snowmaking lances have been shipped across the Seven Seas – and delivered into the competent hands of TechnoAlpin’s field engineers. 

This big logistics challenge can only be met thanks to the long years of experience and the enthusiasm of the Logistics Department at TechnoAlpin. The targeted and intelligent choice of our forwarding agents is also highly important.
