Technology TechnoAlpin: Hydromat WO

Fully automatic pressure control valve with automatic closing function should power be lost and integrated discharge valve. The water pressure is controlled and thus the water flow is regulated by throttling the water volume flow on the control valve. The motor drive, through reduction gearboxes and worm gear, allows the control valve - and consequently the water pressure - to be precisely regulated.The automatic close function, should power be lost, is implemented by the downstream ON-OFF valve. The valve is hydraulically controlled and opens and closes with the water pressure. The discharge valve opens if the control valve closes after the snow gun‘s pressure falls below a defined limit value. The discharge valve enables the snow gun’s components that have water flowing through them to be discharged automatically. Fully automatic operation is achieved when connected to an automatic snow gun. In this case the power is supplied via the data line connection. The hydrant has zero voltage once the data line has been removed. For manual operation a suitable transformer socket must be connected upstream to supply electricity to the data socket either at 230 V or 400 V. The Hydromat WO is controlled manually via an appropriate keyboard connected to the transformer at a data socket. The water supply system is connected either with the screw-in connection set or with the “Kamlok quick closure”, as desired. The water supply pipe is connected to the snow gun with a “two inch screw” or “Kamlok quick closure”.
