SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser–Brixental “best ski area for advanced skiers”

SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser–Brixental “best ski area for advanced skiers”

Every summer it snows awards on SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. This time the Austrian ski area made its mark in the European ski area test run by Snow-Online.de, one of the biggest Internet portals in the field of winter sports, and was classified as a “Top Ski Area”. TechnoAlpin takes great pleasure in its customer’s success and would like to offer sincere congratulations!

In previous years SkiWelt tended to score above all with its popular facilities for families, beginners and intermediate skiers, but now it is increasingly establishing a reputation as one of the best ski areas for the experts, too. This time SkiWelt came first out of a total of 42 European ski areas in the “Advanced” category.

Additional awards in two of the main categories, namely "Top Lifts and Cablecars” and “Top Trail Grooming”, are confirmation of the wisdom of SkiWelt’s policy of ongoing investment in the infrastructure.

The SnowOnline testers paid anonymous visits to 42 European ski areas from November to April and, after a detailed inspection, awarded points in fourteen categories. In addition to the size of the ski area, the evaluation was based on such factors as the number of groomed trails, the standard of the lifts and cablecars, the quality of the snow grooming and service, and the reliability of the snow cover, as well as less technical aspects such as the après-ski offering, family orientation and the price-performance ratio.

With 91 lifts and cablecars and over 279 kilometers of groomed trails, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental is the biggest interconnected ski area in Austria. Of a total of 210 kilometers of trails with snowmaking, 100 kilometers can be got ready for skiing – also thanks to TechnoAlpin – in just three days. In 2008 alone the snow experts supplied the following items to Brixen and Westendorf:
• 58 A9 lances
116 A30 lances
