The new polyethylene tapping station wins unanimous approval

The fact that all TechnoAlpin tapping stations are the result of extensive analysis is clearly seen once again with the new polyethylene shelter. Produced through a fusion process of centrifugal casting and designed according to the “sandwich principle”, the station sets new boundaries in terms of its reduced weight, suitability for air transportation, stability, ease of assembly, reduced installation times and operational simplicity.
Through the utilisation of high quality materials - high-density linear polyethylene R200 for inner and outer surfaces, the light structure of the S235JR galvanised steel reinforcement panels and the polyurethane packing foam to provide still further reinforcement - it was possible to create extremely fine walls, leading to a total weight of just 260kg including entrance hatches, conductors and steel girders for mounting lances or 1.6m fixed towers.
As with all TechnoAlpin shelters, heating and lighting installations are also made possible. Naturally, this model also allows you to install a hydrant or a valve block for snow lances as well as air and water valves for lances with centralised aeration; they are also spacious enough to accommodate one or two 240 connection boxes.
Shelters TechnoAlpin
After all, they must offer full protection for all the gear and connections for the power, water and air supply. The shelters are designed with the load-bearing capacity to provide a stable footing for the snow gun assemblies. They are also large enough for convenient maintenance work.
