Pump station TechnoAlpin

Pump station TechnoAlpinThe pump station is one of the components of a snowmaking system that requires customized attention. Water from a higher-level reservoir, for example, is naturally delivered under pressure, while water from a creek down in the valley requires a boost in pressure for distribution to the system. The TechnoAlpin Engineering department performs a precise analysis in the individual case and designs the system to match the parameters. TechnoAlpin has years of experience in the difficult task of converting the theory into practice.

Storage basins and pump storage stations

Storage basins and pump storage stationsTechnoAlpin designs and builds storage reservoirs to ensure the water supply for the entire machinery in combination with a pump storage station.

The production of artificial snow requires high-pressure water and compressed air. The water requirement for snow-making facilities is relatively high: one cubic metre of artificially produced snow requires approximately 0.5 cubic metres of water. The water is held in storage basins or reservoirs. It is taken from the basin by means of a submerged pump and the pressure is increased up to 15 bar using a high-pressure pump, then supplied via a special pipeline to the individual hydrants.

Cast iron pipes, field pipelines

Cast iron pipes, field pipelinesTo ensure problem-free operation of snow-making equipment in the field, TechnoAlpin has always relied on high-quality products that have been fully tested in practice.
