Water temperature for snow is a key factor in the production of technical snow. The use of water at a suitable temperature can optimize each
snow gun‘s performance. The new cooling towers from the ‘Cooltech’ series have been
designed specifically for use in snowmaking systems. The sophisticated operating principle is based on the specific derivation of water into the honeycomb system of the cooling body. All the components used are more than able to withstand the pressures required as well as the adverse conditions of use. Through the temperature measurement on the cooling tower outlet and the possibility to use of a frequency converter, the
ventilator speed can be constantly regulated to ensure an
optimum water temperature.
High-performance. From 20 to 75 l/s throughput with minimum leakage ensured by a droplet separator.
Safe. All air inputs, connections and pipes are covered with special, insulating cladding and equipped with heating systems. Water pipes and distributors are fitted with discharge drains.
Environmentally friendly. Depending on the customer’s requirements, a range of different-colored covers or wooden enclosures ensures that the equipment blends into the surrounding environment.
High-value. All materials used in the snow-making equipment have been designed to operate at low temperatures.
Reliable. All electrical connections, motors, vibra switches and heaters are enclosed in their own hard-wired cases.
