Georgian Prime Minister visits TechnoAlpin

On March 9th, TechnoAlpin was honored with an official visit by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili. Also present were the Vice-Prime Minister and Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze and the Minister for Economics and Sustainable Development, Georeg Gakharia, with his deputy, Ketevan Bochorishvili. Zurab Alavidze, Minister for Regional Development and Infrastructure, was also among the guests. The heads of government were accompanied by Sandro Onoprishvili, the Director for Mountain Resort Development of Georgia.

In Bolzano, the guests met the CEO of TechnoAlpin, Erich Gummerer, and had an opportunity to inspect the snow gun production area. In addition to a presentation of the first-class quality of the products, the Georgian delegation also gained insight into the efficient and resource-saving way snow guns are produced at TechnoAlpin and the planning for fully-automatic snow-making systems.

The other business areas of TechnoAlpin also made an impression: The dust-laying sprayers and fire-fighting equipment from EmiControls and snow rooms from AreaSana were also on show.

The guests had an opportunity to appreciate how TechnoAlpin products are used in practice. They visited the Italian ski resorts at Kronplatz and in Madonna di Campiglio. There they gained a practical insight into the operations behind the top-quality snow from TechnoAlpin. The Georgian visitors were especially impressed by the ultra-modern infrastructures of the snow-making systems. In addition to the snow guns on the slopes, the pumping stations from TechnoAlpin, with their outstanding construction and equipment, also left their mark.

TechnoAlpin feels honored by the visit by the Georgian administration and is proud that its snow guns are making such a major impact throughout the world.
