It was the third time that TechnoAlpin had organized an International Service Meeting. 19 service coordinators from the headquarters in Bolzano and from the branches all over the world gathered at the company headquarters for a catch-up meeting from March 27 to 28, 2018. The Service Meeting is first and foremost an opportunity to find out more about the TechnoAlpin products, but it is also a chance to get to know each other better.
Some innovations which were introduced last year were discussed at the Service Meeting and current projects were presented. Olivier Chapelle, Global Snow Operations & Service Manager, opened the meeting with a summary of the latest news and information. The online service portal was also on the agenda at the meeting, as were the latest TechnoAlpin products and software projects. Other highlights included the visit to the Snowroom in Hotel Erica and the Snowfactory in the TechnoAlpin test center. Entrepreneur Carsten K. Rath was also invited to the International Service Meeting. He gave an interesting talk on the importance of excellent service and customer satisfaction.
A joint excursion was also organized to the Brenner Base Tunnel construction site. This is the longest underground railway tunnel in the world. The tunnel is currently in the completion phase. A project manager of the company explained more about the project and the build to the visitors. The two-day meeting closed with a look ahead to the strategy for the 2018/2019 season. Head of International Customer Service Arno Hafner spoke about new directions and future goals.
