The snow lances in the TechnoAlpin Borax range are versatile products and are also suitable for use in limit temperatures. The lance head is particularly resistant to wind.

The Borax comes in three models. In addition to the classic model, the Borax also comes in the ST version with narrow jet. The Borax B6 is fitted with a double head. All the snow lance models can be used at low water pressure and are suitable for any terrain.

Technical components

Lance head

The snow lance head is mounted in such a way that it is resistant to wind. Therefore it is also possible to install the snow lance on slopes which are exposed to the wind.

Lance construction

The Borax support consists of a mechanical structure which can be rotated to adjust the position of the snow lance. A removable hydraulic lifting cylinder enables the snow lance to be moved to a vertical position.

Valve technology

The automatic YB valve of pressure class PN100 regulates the water pressure, water flow and airflow for the lances. The opening and closing cycle includes water and air discharge. The valve has a patented closing mechanism which guarantees automatic closure in the event of a power failure.

The Borax snow lance operates with an automatic YB valve but it can also be controlled manually.
