Precise planning work – the cornerstone for every snowmaking system
The construction of every new snowmaking system is preceded by a detailed, customized planning phase. It goes without saying that each system is adapted to the specific conditions and individual requirements of each ski area. The motto here is to position the right snow producer in the right place. The aim is to guarantee energy-efficient and resource-saving snowmaking.
In TechnoAlpin's planning department, around 25 employees work closely with Sales, Contract Management and Research and Development. Together, the technical, hydraulic and electrical components for the entire snowmaking system are specified and individually selected. This information forms the basis for the technical draftsmen, who use it to create a masterplan. It serves as a detailed overview plan for the entire snowmaking system, showing field installations, machine rooms and snow producers. In addition, any future expansion stages are incorporated here.
Every year, TechnoAlpin's planning department prepares thousands of offers and some 2,500 drawings (masterplans, flow charts, process graphics and installation plans) are generated.
