Digitalization & Marginal Temperatures: The TR Series Is Built for the Challenge
Short snowmaking windows pose particular challenges for ski areas. When conditions are right, every available time window must be used effectively. Especially at marginal temperatures, high-performance snow producers and precise control of the entire plant are essential.
TechnoAlpin’s TR9 and TR10 fan-based snow producers are designed to ensure reliable operation, even under demanding conditions. In particular, achieving reliable snow production in the wet-bulb temperature range from approximately −1.5 to −2 °C down to −6 to −8 °C depends on selecting the right snow producer. The TR9 and TR10 are engineered to deliver high performance even within this critical temperature range. The TR series helps ski areas effectively utilize suitable snowmaking windows and produce the snow quality they want.
Digital production data provides a valuable basis for the further development of snow producers. ATASSpro enables the collection and analysis of relevant weather and system data. The insights gained reveal the actual conditions under which the plants are used and which requirements are crucial in this context. This data is continuously used to further optimize both technology and system operations. Digital solutions also allow for more precise snowmaking planning. Favorable snowmaking windows can be identified in advance, allowing operations to be better adapted to current conditions. This allows the available cold conditions to be maximized.
The combination of high-performance snow producers from TechnoAlpin and intelligent digital solutions is therefore key to an efficient snowmaking strategy—especially when every suitable hour counts.
