TUNDRA - We are expanding the SnowFactory family
Because innovation and product development never stop for the world leader of the snowmaking market, TechnoAlpin is proud to have presented the latest addition to the SnowFactory product line during the 2025 Interalpin trade show, the Tundra model.
Pioneer of the all-weather snow production technology specifically dedicated to alpine, Nordic or indoor applications, TechnoAlpin now offers a full range of SnowFactory solutions, developed and built in house. The SnowFactory family now comprises this new Tundra, the Polar Mobile or the Artic, as well as other fully customized solutions, opening the opportunity of unrestricted production capacity.
Tundra, compact, smart & efficient
While highly compact, as it is nested in a 20’ container – half the size of the Polar Mobile, the Tundra yet boasts a large production capacity, as it delivers an impressive 70m3 of snow per day. Still “Plug & Play”, with very little construction and infrastructure requirements, the Tundra is extremely efficient, just like the other SnowFactory models, but it offers something more, as it gives a great operational flexibility to ski resort or indoor ski dome operators with its smaller size and weight. It’s compact size also allows for another interesting operational and maintenance feature, as there’s full access to all components from the outside of the machine. It can also be integrated into the ATASSpro control software for an optimal operational efficiency. Last but not least, the Tundra has another advantage, as it’s loaded with the environmentally friendly gas R454C, which presents a significantly lower “GWP*” than other refrigerant.
All in all, the SnowFactory technology is a real game-changer for ski resorts or Nordic centers, for instance, allowing to secure the season’s opening with its unique ability to produce snow regardless of the weather conditions, operating up to 25°C. And always with the design touch, high quality and reliability of TechnoAlpin’s products.
Today, over 115 SnowFactory projects worldwide have been carried out and commissioned so far by TechnoAlpin, delivering the best quality snow to winter sports and snow enthusiasts. This is a strong sign of confidence into the snow production technologies developed by TechnoAlpin.
