Redesigning the TR series | Setting new benchmarks once again
With the comprehensive redesign of the TR9 and TR10, TechnoAlpin is further advancing its fan gun TR series in line with the practical needs of ski area operators. Developed on the basis of customer feedback, this latest generation combines proven snowmaking performance with targeted improvements in usability, operational safety, flexibility and resource efficiency. The result is a solution designed to help ski resorts respond effectively to increasingly demanding operational conditions.
A key focus of the redesign is simpler, safer operation. The display, electrical cabinet, height adjustment and swivel control are now grouped together on one side of the machine, ensuring that all key functions are directly accessible for both operation and maintenance. The redesigned layout also enhances operational safety: the main switch is now positioned within the display’s working area, along with all the other components, no longer on the other side of the machine.
The new chassis provides greater flexibility during transport, storage and installation. Retractable supports require around 30% less space in their compact position than previous models, enabling more machines to be transported on a truck and reducing the footprint required for summer storage. When a particularly stable set-up is needed, such as on steep slopes, the supports can be extended further than before to provide additional stability.
The new TRx series also support efficient, as well as digitally managed snowmaking. They produce the same amount of snow with lower energy consumption and efficient air pressure build-up, only delivering the optimum air flow, regardless of the elevation above sea level. Combined with high-performance nozzles, configurable nucleators with ruby inserts, a large-surface air cooler and extensive component standardization with the TT series, the redesigned TR models help simplify operations, logistics and spare-parts management. Last but not least, the ATASSpro software enables digital machine control, while Bluetooth connectivity supports local maintenance work or use at sites without an internet connection.
Through continued development of practical, advanced snowmaking solutions, TechnoAlpin supports ski area operators in meeting the operational challenges of today and tomorrow.
