A passion for the best snow quality throughout the world is our focus at TechnoAlpin. That is why we are very pleased to report that TechnoAlpin is the Official Supplier for the World Para Snow Sports Championships 2017.
Two events have already benefited from this partnership: The world championships in Para Alpine Skiing in Tarviso (Italy), saw 113 athletes from 30 countries take part. The Para Snowboarding Championship in Big White (Canada) gave more than 60 athletes the opportunity to qualify for the Paralympic Winter Games 2018 in Pyeong Chang.
TechnoAlpin is helping the IPC with the organization of the World Para Snow Sport Championships 2017 by providing top-quality competition conditions. “Para snow sports continue to grow and the quality of the athletes is improving all the time. World Championships must meet those rising standards, offering courses that challenge athletes and provide the perfect conditions for them to reach their best. I believe that TechnoAlpin are the perfect partner to help us meet those demands,” says Xavier Gonzalez, CEO of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
Erich Gummerer, CEO of TechnoAlpin, is also excited about the collaboration. “TechnoAlpin wants to offer every winter sports enthusiast an outstanding snow experience, from the youngest hobby skier to world champions. Everyone should experience the best snow quality, so that’s why we fully support the IPC in their work.”
The World Para Nordic Skiing Championships will be held from February 10 to 19 in Finsterau (Germany). There too, TechnoAlpin will be supporting staging of the competitions as the Official Supplier.
