On Thursday, May 20, TechnoAlpin ushered in a new era in snowmaking and introduced the new ATASSpro software. Once again it was a virtual product presentation, allowing various developers from the international team to explain the special features of this software in more detail.
The key features of good snowmaking software are a wide range of functions for controlling the system, an unrestricted overall view and simple operation. The new TechnoAlpin ATASSpro software now combines the best functions of the tried and tested Liberty and ATASSplus control systems in one single package. At the same time, the functions have been radically updated and brought into line with modern software engineering.
The architecture for the entire automation of snowmaking with the help of this new control system is the SnowProcess. This fully automatic solution enables ATASSpro to maintain an overview of the entire system, i.e. the snowmaking process is started automatically as soon as the conditions are right. At the same time, it is easier than ever to operate the system, with the completely new interface and revolutionary navigation concept allowing intuitive operation and quick access to the main functions – even without prior knowledge of other snowmaking software – whether on ultra-wide screens or in multi-screen mode. The multi-user mode also gives everyone in the snowmaking operations team the option of adapting the view to their own personal preferences and to the requirements for the job in hand.
ATASSpro delivers large volumes of snowmaking data which serve as a wide-ranging basis for decisions. The improved weather forecast provides the perfect basis for planning and predicting snow production while the analysis tools allow a precise evaluation of the season. The system can of course also be controlled from a smartphone with the updated MobileApp.
All new systems will be supplied with ATASSpro with immediate effect. But it is also easy to switch from ATASSplus or Liberty to ATASSpro. If you missed the presentation, you can always watch it here.
