Top performance. Guaranteed snow quality.

The TL6 snow lance has four nozzle rings with six possible flow combinations. Therefore the lance provides enormous snow output and produces snow of the highest quality. Even in extreme marginal temperatures the TL6 can be started up and it produces also a very large amount of snow in cold temperatures. In the unlikely event of a compressed air failure, the water is prevented from flowing back into the air circuit by the use of innovative nucleators. The TL6 therefore guarantees reliable snow quality in any situation and prevents the formation of ice on slopes.

High-end snow lance

A motor in the lance head controls the opening and closing of the nozzles and the selection of the combinations. This motorized head enables the TL6 to work without complex valve equipment on the lance or in the pit. The new mast support design means that the lance can be fully lowered without having to remove the water and air connections. This makes servicing procedures much easier.

Motorized lance head

The motorized head of the TL6 lance has four nozzle rings with six possible flow combinations. Optimum performance is made possible by nucleators of the latest generation, paired with the proven and tested Rubis Evolution head technology.

One outstanding feature of the nucleators is their low air consumption which makes the lance one of the most efficient on the market. Another outstanding feature is their innovative design which prevents the water from flowing back into the air circuit if the compressed air supply is cut off. This greatly increases the operational reliability of the lance. There is also a special heating system which keeps the head free of ice, even in adverse conditions.

The water in the nozzle ring is discharged by means of compressed air when the nozzles close. This keeps the snow quality consistently high and also prevents the lance from icing over. A motor in the lance head controls the opening and closing of the nozzles and the selection of the combinations, thereby obviating the need for complex valve system in the pit.

Lance bracket

The bracket consists of a fixed base, a rotating column and an optional cylinder for height adjustment. The lance mast can therefore be fully lowered without having to remove air and water hoses. The bracekt is designed to integrate an optional filter which makes maintenance operations much easier.

Valve technology

The automatic YB valve of pressure class PN100 regulates the water pressure, water flow and airflow for the lances. The opening and closing cycle includes water and air discharge. The valve has a patented closing mechanism which guarantees automatic closure in the event of a power failure.

Filter

For increased operational reliability, the TL6 has an optional filter which is fitted on the bracket. The filter can therefore be cleaned easily without having to climb down into the pit.

Meteo station

Up-to-date weather information is needed so that the snow gun parameters can be adjusted to the prevailing conditions for optimum performance. The current air temperature and relative humidity are therefore always measured and processed in the meteo station. It is also possible to install sensors to measure the wind direction, wind speed and snow depth.
