Increased efficiency, reduced carbon footprint!
As innovation leader of the snowmaking market, TechnoAlpin constantly strives to offer the most efficient solutions to ski resort operators to help them face the new challenges associated to snow production, one of them being optimizing the energy consumption of their snow gun fleets, in order to reduce the carbon footprint.
In that respect, upgrading to the latest technological standards, for snow production quality and output, as well as gaining efficiency, is particularly straightforward and cost-effective when it comes to lance snow producers. Indeed, any many instances, it is necessary to just replace the lance heads of existing snow producers to benefit from superior performances of the latest models, while keeping the same lance pipe and pit valve: A reduced investment that yields significant saving, both in terms of energy and time!
This really is a simple and cost-effective solution to quickly upgrade existing snowmaking systems and make the most of the latest technological features. Every season, TechnoAlpin's sales team advises and supports ski area operators in optimizing and modernizing their older lances installed on their snowmaking systems. For the 2024/2025 winter season, this is particularly the case with 2 major projects on the French market, with the ski resorts of Courchevel 3 Valleys (Tarentaise region) and Valloire (Maurienne region). Both ski resorts invest on a regular basis in the development and upgrade of their snowmaking systems, designed by TechnoAlpin, to stay on the edge of performances and offer the best conditions to their guests.
As part of their development plans for the next season, they have decided to upgrade significant number of older generation lances: 40 lance heads will be replaced at Courchevel, with 40 state of the art TL4 EE and 35 lance heads at Valloire, with 35 renown and robust Rubis Evo.
This strategic move will allow both ski area operators to reap the rewards of TechnoAlpin’s advanced snowmaking technologies whilst keeping a close eye on investment costs and help improved the energy efficiency of their snow production.
