Interim Sustainability Report | Pursuing this strategic initiative
Following up on the first sustainability report released in 2023 and taking into account the latest regulation from the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standard (ESRS), TechnoAlpin has updated the overall road map associated to this strategic initiative, through an interim sustainability report.
While the material topics identified during the initial material analysis conducted in 2023 remain totally relevant today, it was nonetheless important to make this intermediate step and update the material analysis, according to the CSRD/ESRS criteria, introducing the double materiality approach, considering the both the impact materiality (analyzing how the company’s operations affect the environment, society and the economy, as well as the financial materiality (taking into account the economic effects that external factors may have on our company).
This work was the occasion validate the foundations of the initial initiative, to rearrange and aggregate the topics identified in 2023 (Circular economy, Waste & Water management, Energy efficiency, Innovation, Climate adaptation and Employee engagement) and to introduce the new topic of corporate governance as a specific topic on its own.
While this is an on-going process, this interim report shows the continued commitment of TechnoAlpin to progress on the path of even greater sustainability in its operations, allowing also to draft the strategy for the next period ranging from 2025 to 2030.
