Cutting-edge SnowFactories for Gransnow Okuibuki
The Gransnow Okuibuki ski area in Japan relies on state-of-the-art snowmaking technology from TechnoAlpin. After testing multiple SnowFactory systems from different manufacturers last winter, our solution was ultimately selected.
The SnowFactory is an innovative snowmaking technology producing top-quality snow regardless of air temperature. The machine is not intended to replace conventional snowmaking systems, but rather to complement them. With their help, snow can be produced 24/7, regardless of the outdoor conditions at the site.
Just in time for the start of the season, the ski area saw the installation of seven SnowFactories, collectively capable of producing over 1,000 m³ of snow per day in total.
New concept: Building-integrated SnowFactories
Three of the units supplied were not installed in containers as usual, but they were actually integrated into a building. This was the first implementation of a new SnowFactory concept, designed to ensure even more flexible and efficient use. This innovative solution offers numerous advantages:
