Výmenník tepla optimalizuje zasnežovanie pri hraničných teplotách

S koncom leta sa v mnohých lyžiarskych strediskách začínajú prípravy na novú zimnú sezónu. Jeseň sa blíži a s ňou aj čakanie na optimálne teplotné okná. Najmä v rozhodujúcom predvianočnom období prevládajú hraničné teploty. Analýzy spoločnosti TechnoAlpin ukázali, že vo fáze zasnežovania do polovice decembra sa viac ako 70 % zasnežovacích hodín odohráva pri guľovej teplote medzi -2 °C a -5 °C. Aby sa splnili tieto špeciálne požiadavky, oddelenie výskumu a vývoja technologického lídra TechnoAlpin venovalo v posledných rokoch mimoriadnu pozornosť zvyšovaniu zasnežovacieho výkonu v hraničnom teplotnom rozsahu.

Jedným z ústredných prvkov vývoja je lokálny výmenník tepla pre vzduch kompresora vo vrtuľových snežných delách. Predstavený bol s modelom TR10 a vyznačuje sa mimoriadne veľkou chladiacou plochou. Princíp je jednoduchý: Snehová voda preteká cez vodný filter. Výmenník tepla je puzdro okolo tohto vodného filtra a vedie kompresorový vzduch v špirále okolo filtra. Horúci stlačený vzduch z kompresora je vedený okolo studenej vody určenej na zasnežovanie a ochladzuje sa z približne 100 °C na 10 °C – bez dodatočných nákladov na energiu. Využitím odpadového tepla zo stlačeného vzduchu odpadá nutnosť dohrievania vo vodnom filtri, čím sa ušetrí cca 30 % vykurovacieho výkonu. Inteligentné riešenie môže v absolútne hraničných podmienkach rozhodnúť o tom, či bude snežné delo odstavené alebo v prevádzke.
