Skeetawk Ski Area investiert in erste Beschneiungsanlage mit TechnoAlpin

Das Skeetawk Ski Area, Alaskas jüngstes Skigebiet, ist mit der Installation der ersten Beschneiungsanlage von TechnoAlpin im Sommer 2025 in eine wichtige neue Entwicklungsphase eingetreten.
 

Eingebettet in die Talkeetna Mountains am berühmten Hatcher Pass - nur 90 Minuten nördlich von Anchorage - liegt Skeetawk in einem Gebiet, das bereits für seine außergewöhnlichen Möglichkeiten zum Tiefschneefahren bekannt ist. Skeetawk ist ein gemeinnütziges, gemeinschaftsorientiertes Skigebiet und empfängt seit der Wintersaison 2019/2020 Skifahrer und Snowboarder, als der erste Lift installiert wurde: ein fixer 3er-Sessellift.
 

Bislang fehlte jedoch die Infrastruktur zur Beschneiung, um den Betrieb weiter abzusichern, die Schneesicherheit zu verbessern und Wintersportlern stets hochwertige Bedingungen zu bieten. Diese erste Beschneiungsanlage ist daher ein wichtiger Meilenstein für die langfristige Nachhaltigkeit und das Gästeerlebnis des Skigebiets.

Zwei gelbe TechnoAlpin Schneelanzen erzeugen Schnee vor Berglandschaft

In der ersten Bauphase erfolgt die Installation von 3.000 Metern Rohrleitungen, 11 Beton-Schneischächten und 18 manuellen Wasserhydranten auf den Pisten. Durch eine Container-Pumpstation mit zwei Pumpen wird die Wasserversorgung sichergestellt. Diese in einem 40-Fuß-Container untergebrachte Lösung ermöglicht eine schnelle Bereitstellung und vereinfacht die Installation, was sie besonders geeignet für die Umgebung von Skeetawk macht.
 

Für die Beschneiung der Pisten sorgen 11 TT10-Propellermaschinen und 9 mobile Propellermaschinen TR9, die alle über die Steuerungssoftware ATASSpro von TechnoAlpin betrieben werden und eine effiziente und zuverlässige Systemverwaltung gewährleisten.

TechnoAlpin ist stolz darauf, Skeetawk Ski Area bei diesem wichtigen Entwicklungsschritt zu unterstützen und mit modernster Beschneiungstechnik zum weiteren Wachstum des Skigebietes beizutragen - und so für die Gemeinde und für kommende Generationen von Skifahrern optimale Schneebedingungen zu gewährleisten.
