Skeetawk Ski Area investit dans son premier système d’enneigement avec TechnoAlpin

Skeetawk Ski Area, la station de ski la plus récente d’Alaska, franchit une étape majeure de son développement avec l’installation de son tout premier système d’enneigement TechnoAlpin, réalisée durant l’été 2025.
 

Nichée dans les montagnes de Talkeetna, au cœur du célèbre col de Hatcher Pass – à seulement 90 minutes au nord d’Anchorage – Skeetawk est située dans une région déjà réputée pour la qualité de son ski hors-piste. Exploitée selon un modèle associatif et communautaire à but non lucratif, la station accueille skieurs et snowboardeurs depuis la saison hivernale 2019/2020, à la suite de la mise en service de sa première remontée mécanique : un télésiège fixe trois places. Jusqu’à présent, l’absence d’infrastructures d’enneigement constituait le dernier maillon manquant pour sécuriser davantage l’exploitation, améliorer la fiabilité de l’enneigement et garantir des conditions optimales aux amateurs de sports d’hiver. Cette première installation neige représente ainsi une étape clé pour la viabilité de la station et pour l’expérience client.

La première phase des travaux comprend l’installation de 3 000 mètres de canalisations d’enneigement, 11 regards béton et 18 hydrants manuels répartis sur les pistes. L’alimentation en eau sera assurée par une station de pompage containerisée équipée de deux pompes. Intégrée dans un conteneur de 40 pieds, cette solution permet une mise en œuvre rapide et simplifiée, parfaitement adaptée à l’environnement de Skeetawk.
 

La production de neige sur les pistes sera assurée par 11 enneigeurs ventilateur TT10 et 9 enneigeurs mobiles TR9, l’ensemble du système étant piloté par le logiciel de gestion ATASSpro de TechnoAlpin, garantissant une exploitation efficace et fiable.
