From Liberty to ATASSpro: A powerful and successful experience!
Over the years, TechnoAlpin has always pioneered snowmaking control and automation. Our teams have delivered to the market the most powerful and comprehensive snowmaking software solutions, ATASSplus & Liberty.
With ATASSpro, released in 2021, TechnoAlpin took snowmaking system management to the next level. It combines the best features of ATASSplus & Liberty, while bringing additional innovative tools to boost and maximize snow production as well as resource management.
Because we strongly feel that the best ambassadors of our products and solutions are our customers, we spoke with the snowmaking manager of French ski resort Sainte Foy Tarentaise, owned by the group Loisirs Solutions, Cédric Bonnevie. He gave us his opinion and feedback after switching from Liberty to ATASSpro for the 2022/2023 season.
Indeed, on the occasion of a snowmaking system expansion project last year, Sainte Foy Tarentaise, a longtime customer of TechnoAlpin, decided to change their software, from Liberty to ATASSpro. “Last year, the move from Liberty to ATASSpro, after a 1st test season, went very well. We received excellent support from the TechnoAlpin teams. Despite the pressure inherent in the start of the production season, we were confident about implementing ATASSpro to manage the snowmaking installation and to optimize our snow production” says Cédric Bonnevie.
Beyond the novelty factor, what is really key are the operating tools and innovative functions that are available in the new ATASSpro software and the benefits it brings to the snowmaking crew.
In that respect, the snowmaking manager adds “With ATASSpro, I found all the tools I needed to operate the snowmaking system, with a very complete, user-friendly and intuitive interface!” Cedric Bonnevie also points out in particular “the overview, with the satellite map background, has the great advantage of enabling us to locate easily our equipment on the ski area. This is a real plus for the snowmaking team. Production management, in terms of snow quality and scheduling, is also very easy with ATASSpro.”
Another very interesting and powerful feature underlined by Cédric Bonnevie is the mobile application that comes with ATASSpro: “In the production phases, we have used also the ATASSpro Mobile App a lot! It's a real plus. As it is a web-based app, it's very fast! It gives us a lot of flexibility in the field.”
So, the move from Liberty to ATASSpro has been a very successful and positive experience for Cédric Bonnevie and the snowmaking crew of Sainte Foy Tarentaise. They can benefit from the most advanced software solution to allow them making the most of their snowmaking system.
