Get your winter season off to a secure start - this is possible only with the SnowFactory. This snowmaking system not only allows you to plan more reliably throughout the winter months, but also guarantees a secure start to the season.

The SnowFactory is an innovative snowmaking technology producing top-quality snow regardless of air temperature. The SnowFactory is not intended to replace conventional snowmaking systems, but rather to complement them. With their help, snow can be produced 24/7, regardless of the outdoor conditions at the site.

The SnowFactory system has already been installed in various dimensions. This technical solution has convinced 70 clients around the globe. The installations range from mobile versions to large-scale projects producing 1,000 m³ of snow per day.

Large-scale snow production whatever the weather: The snowmaking technology developed in-house can withstand external influences. Furthermore, thanks to the special consistency, snow can be produced regardless of the weather conditions and only melts slowly. The volume of snow is maintained, even after using a snow groomer.
Straightforward snow distribution: With just one individual SnowFactory system, snow can be distributed hundreds of meters across the entire ski area via underground pipelines. The sophisticated system improves the transport of the snow, reduces loss due to melting and ensures seamless operation.
Genuine plug and play: The SnowFactory is delivered in the container to the relevant site ready for operation. All of the technology is installed in the container - hence there is no need to position additional components around the machine.
Different refrigerants: Individual refrigerants are selected depending on the chosen application. In most cases, natural refrigerants can be used to produce snow in an even more environmentally friendly, energy-efficient way. Refrigerant levels remain very low thanks to continuous innovation.
Sector leader with the competitive edge in terms of technology: TechnoAlpin has perfected the SnowFactory through years of development. The control software developed in-house ensures straightforward operation and uncomplicated control. Following an industry comparison, the SnowFactory also requires far less energy than comparable models

New technologies in a nutshell

The SnowFactory uses an innovative refrigerating technology to produce snow. An efficient heat exchanger cools the water down to freezing point without chemical additives, and enables snow production in a closed circuit no matter what the outside temperature. The snow is made exclusively of water. The consistency and high volumes of the snow make it last longer despite warmer ambient temperatures. No complicated building work or fittings are necessary for the installation of the SnowFactory. It is delivered ready for operation in a container to the respective location, and is available both as a mobile and as a stationary unit.

Polar

The Polar is the ideal alternative for snowmaking at higher temperatures. Without the need for complex infrastructure, it guarantees snow production even in warm temperatures up to 25°C (77°F). The Polar is permanently installed and is perfect for ski jumps, cross-country ski trails or sections of slopes.

Polar Mobile

The Polar Mobile differs from the Polar mainly in the refrigerant used. Because it uses Opteon refrigerant, the Polar Mobile can be used when ammonia is not suitable. As a portable model, the Polar Mobile is ideal for open-air events or events of any kind.

Tundra

The Tundra model is particularly compact with its 20-foot container – half the size of the Polar Mobile – yet it delivers an impressive 70 m³ of snow per day. Efficient, space-saving and powerful: the perfect solution for maximum flexibility in snow production.

Dome

The Dome is permanently installed and produces snow at an outdoor temperature of up to 35°C (95°F), making it suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor areas where warm ambient temperatures occur, for example for snow towns and amusement parks, as an attraction for shopping centers or other applications.

Arctic

The Arctic produces snow at temperatures of up to 25°C (77°F) and impresses with its enormous snowmaking capacity, which is twice as high as that of the Polar. The Arctic's design makes it modularly expandable. It is permanently installed and is primarily suitable for use on ski jumps, cross-country ski trails, and sections of slope.
