Great success for the TechnoAlpin snow at the Winter Games!

The 2022 Winter Olympic Games have come to a successful conclusion and the overall organization was highly praised. It should be especially emphasized that the snow surface and snow conditions were unanimously appreciated by all participants.

TechnoAlpin snow-making machines have the privilege to serve Yanqing National Alpine Skiing Center, Zhangjiakou Chongli Genting Snow Park, Zhangjiakou Chongli Guyangshu Skiing Group and Beijing Shougang Big Air (all of which are competition venues for snow sports in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics), and we are deeply proud of this.

Of course, this is not the first time that the snowmaking equipment of TechnoAlpin contribute to the success of Winter Games, in recent years, TechnoAlpin worked many occasions for Winter Sport venues, supplying snowmaking systems for the 2018 games in Pyeongchang, the 2014 games in Sochi, as well as Torino in 2006.

The engineering and development team of TechnoAlpin has done an incredible work ahead of the event designing and finding the best solutions for the different snowmaking systems built for the Winter Games: In China, the Yanqing National Alpine Skiing Center and the National Ski Jumping Centre, National Cross-Country Centre and National Biathlon Centre in Genting Snow Park, as well as the Shougang venue for the Big Air. All the venues had specific configurations and snow production needs that had to be taken in consideration.

), have worked very hard to deliver the best snow conditions possible to the athletes and to guarantee the safety and success of the races. Thanks to the cutting-edge technologies deployed and the expertise of TechnoAlpin’s team, the snowmaking systems ran just like Swiss clockwork.
