When preparation becomes performance-ready: B.E.A.T. Phase 3 kicks off
Phase 3 of the B.E.A.T. service marks the start of the crucial period leading up to the winter season. During the Action phase, snowmaking systems are brought on line in stages between September and November, put through their paces, and prepared for action.
The B.E.A.T. service organizes the year into four interconnected phases: Beginning, Equipment, Action and Target. This concept helps ski areas plan ahead for inspections, maintenance, repairs, and commissioning. The shared goal: an optimally prepared plant for the smoothest possible winter operation.
The necessary groundwork had already been completed in the months before. Following the thorough inspections in the spring, the necessary maintenance and repair work was carried out over the summer, and spare parts were sourced. Now it’s time for the practical test: Working together with the ski areas, TechnoAlpin technicians inspect all components to ensure they are fully operational.
This leaves ample time to implement any adjustments that still need to be made. This ensures that careful preparation translates into reliable operational readiness – just in time for the start of the new winter season.
