Chamrousse: A first step with TechnoAlpin

Chamrousse, a well-known ski area in the Alpine region of Grenoble (France), has decided to make a strategic move for its snowmaking system, equipping one of their slopes with TechnoAlpin snow producers.
 

This move was dictated by the need to have sufficient firepower to make snow at marginal temperatures to guarantee the opening of this important slope, returning to the base area of the ski resort, at the beginning of the season. Another critical aspect was the need for snow producers with the lowest sound level possible, as the bottom of the slope is located next to housings.

To achieve this goal, a mix of fan guns and lances was strategically positioned on the slope. In total 3 TT9, 1 TR9 and 9 TL4, including 4 unites with double head, has been installed on the slope. The snow producers are controlled in full auto, by ATASSpro.
