TL8 Double – Snow production doubled for little investment

To further increase production capacity, the existing TL lance series is being expanded with the TL8 Double model. This version of TL technology makes it possible to equip a single lance pipe with two TL8 heads and just one "Smart Distributor" type valve block. As a result, snow production can be doubled by the two TL heads without increasing a proportional increase in investment. Additional components do not need to be duplicated: The TL8 Double, including Smart Distributor, is mounted on a standard lance pipe and requires only a pit valve for operation.

Thanks to its eight adjustable steps, the TL8 Double can adjust the water flow precisely to the weather conditions, ensuring consistently high snow quality under all operating conditions.

Simple assembly

All of the cables are routed inside the lance tube. Installation is easier than ever thanks to the robust mechanical construction and stable plug-in connection.

Queen of her class

Boasting double the power, the two-headed TL8 stands as the most powerful lance on the market. This version of the lance is especially impressive at limit temperatures thanks to its huge snow output and consistently good snow quality.

Proven technologies

Just like all models in the TL series, the TL8 Double also features proven innovations such as nucleators with ruby inserts, ceramic nozzles and an air coil that removes excess water from the nozzle ring.

And that's not all – the assembly is based on standard equipment: a universal lance pipe, the "Smart Distributor" valve block directly under the lance head, the water filter with "Wedge Wire" filter cartridge, a mechanical structure with vertical and horizontal adjustment options and the Hydromat W4 pit valve for supplying the lance with water and compressed air.

Lance head

Both TL4 Double lance heads have nucleators with wear-resistant ruby inserts; the nozzles are fitted with ceramic inserts. These resistant materials seldom wear out even at high pressures with hard water, thus guaranteeing snow of a consistently high quality and low maintenance.

Lance construction

The TL series universal lance tube allows all cables to be routed inside. This simplifies assembly and reduces snow and ice build-up. The simple, robust support comprises a fixed column and a rotating column which allows the lance to be continuously adjusted horizontally. With the manual lifting cylinder mounted in a safe working position, the vertical inclination of the lance can also be easily adjusted.

Valve technology

The Hydromat W4 regulates the water pressure and throughput as well as air flow at the snow lance. All components are designed for 100 bar water pressure. Opening and closing circuits ensure automatic water drainage and venting. The valve has a sophisticated closing mechanism that guarantees automatic, mechanical closing in case of a power failure.

Plug-in base

The simple and sturdy plug-in connection of the mechanical structure makes it quick and efficient to fit on initial installation and just as easy to dismantle. The plug-in base has a double hole pattern and a flat base, and is therefore suitable for various pit and concrete foundations.

Water filter

The water filter with weldless WEDGE WIRE filter insert made of nickel chromium steel guarantees fault-free operation, simple cleaning and a long service life.

Versions

Central air lance

The TL4 Double is only available with a central air supply. The water pressure must be 15 bar or higher to put lance performance to optimal use.
