Unbeatable snow output: The TR and TT range

TechnoAlpin has once again soared to new heights in the snowmaking stakes with the latest generation of TR and TT fan guns. The 2019 launch of the TR10 set the scene for the latest line o of snow guns. This snow gun already combined top-quality snow with supreme usability.
 

Then in 2021, it was literally taken to a new level with the launch of the TT10 tower machine. The then brand new, innovative tiltable tower combines all the advantages of a tower-mounted machine with the usability of a mobile fan gun. Maintenance can now be carried out comfortably and safely at ground level.
 

The TR9 and TT9 fan guns with the second largest turbines were launched last year, thus completing the new product range.

Optimum snow output even at borderline temperatures
 

The air cooler has been redesigned and optimized for the latest snow gun lines. The larger cooling surface improves cooling capacity which, in turn, increases snow production, particularly at borderline temperatures.
 

Optimum use of all resources
 

Nozzle valve technology has also been entirely revamped with the introduction of the new fan guns. The central valve block is replaced by individually controllable single valves. Highly innovative and perfectly coordinated, each nozzle block on the nozzle ring is controlled by its own valve. This not only increases operational reliability to considerable extent, but also prevents water loss.
 

The TR and TT nucleators are equipped with two ruby inserts as standard. All TR machine nozzles are fitted with high-quality ruby inserts. They are therefore extremely durable and allow the constant production of high-quality snow whilst reducing the need to replace parts.
 

Last but not least, the turbine and compressor on all machines are driven by just one electric motor.
 

Supreme usability
 

The elevated position of the TT series tower machines generates a large effective radius. The tiltable tower facilitates the mechanical lowering of the snow gun using a lifting cylinder. The nozzle ring and motor are thus readily accessible, thereby completely eliminating the need for a ladder.
 

However, the TR series is a real winner thanks to its automatic height adjustment. The snow guns are therefore automatically moved into any snowmaking position to ensure optimum performance. At the end of snowmaking, the snow guns automatically move back into the standby position, thus preventing damage from snowfall or during transport.

Last but not least, the TR and TT series are set to impress with their aesthetically pleasing yet user-friendly design Hardly surprising then that the TT10 tower machine was the worthy recipient of the internationally acclaimed 2022 Gold iF Design Award, convincing the panel with its innovative overall concept and appealing design.
