Let's go: Phase 3 of the B.E.A.T. concept
With the B.E.A.T. service concept, TechnoAlpin divides the year into four parts - Beginning, Equipment, Action and Target – and links them with targeted measures. The aim is to make optimum use of the full season to prepare snowmaking systems and ensure a trouble-free winter operation.
The period from September to November is dedicated to Phase 3: Action. Action is the word – the snowmaking systems are back in operation.
Review and preparation
In spring, the plant was put through its paces using a detailed checklist. Based on the results, the summer months were spent organizing spare parts and performing maintenance and repair work in the peace and quiet.
Action – winter is just around the corner
Now, between September and November, the focus is on testing every part of entire system and ramping it up step by step. TechnoAlpin technicians help the ski areas check that all components are in full working order. In an ideal world, the plant should run smoothly from the get go, but if anything is amiss, there's still time to make the final adjustments or repairs before the winter season really gets underway.
