TechnoAlpin’s golden snow gun gleams in the Three Peaks Dolomites ski area
TechnoAlpin - the world’s leading manufacturer of snowmaking systems - delivers two special snow guns with a golden finish every year, namely the thousandth and two-thousandth fangun to roll off the Bolzano production line each year. One of this year’s special models has been installed in Italy's Three Peaks Dolomites ski area.
The emerging ski area is the fastest growing in the Dolomite Superski network and boasts a current workforce of around 285, making it one of the largest employers in the Pustertal Valley.
TechnoAlpin and the Three Peaks Dolomites ski area have had a healthy working relationship for many years. “3 Zinnen AG has been a loyal and highly valued customer of TechnoAlpin for decades,” explains Wolfgang Psenner, Sales Manager for Italy. “Our two companies are connected through mutual enthusiasm for the latest technologies and a desire to come up with innovative solutions to save resources.”
This is also reflected in the customized design. The golden fan gun, which has been gleaming on the Hahnspiel slope since last weekend, is a TT10 tower machine. It combines the best snow quality and optimum utilization of resources with innovative technology and unprecedented simplicity. The unique, tiltable tower makes it much easier to carry out maintenance and considerably improves occupational safety.
This year, the Three Peaks Dolomites snowmaking system has been successfully expanded and optimized by TechnoAlpin. This has involved the delivery of approximately 50 new fan guns to ensure optimum snow quality. Overall, the ski area boasts 115 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes alongside state-of-the-art ski lifts and spectacular views.
