TL4 Double - two heads, twice the power

The TL4 Double snow lance with its two high-performance TL4 heads is a special member of the TL lance family. The advantage? Lance performance is significantly increased at no substantial extra cost. Both heads can actually be operated with just one lance tube and a smart distributor. The TL4 Double snow lance is available with a starting water pressure of 25 bar. Atomization works well at this pressure and the spray pattern covers a large surface area. Air consumption also remains very moderate. However, the TL4 Double really scores points with its impressive snow output, particularly in the limit temperature range.

Both heads on the TL4 Double snow lance have three nucleators with ruby inserts, three rings, each with three ceramic nozzles and four control stages. This ensures enormous snow output with moderate air consumption.

All of the cables are routed inside the lance tube. Installation is easier than ever thanks to the robust mechanical construction and stable plug-in connection.

Lance head

Both TL4 Double lance heads have nucleators with wear-resistant ruby inserts; the nozzles are fitted with ceramic inserts. These resistant materials seldom wear out even at high pressures with hard water, thus guaranteeing snow of a consistently high quality and low maintenance.

Lance construction

The TL series universal lance tube allows all cables to be routed inside. This prevents ice from sticking and makes the installation much easier. The simple, robust support comprises a fixed column and a rotating column which allows the lance to be continuously adjusted horizontally. With the manual lifting cylinder mounted in a safe working position, the vertical inclination of the lance can also be easily adjusted.

Water filter

The water filter with weldless WEDGE WIRE filter insert made of nickel chromium steel guarantees fault-free operation, simple cleaning and a long service life.

Plug-in base

The simple and sturdy plug-in connection of the mechanical structure makes it quick and efficient to fit on initial installation and just as easy to dismantle. The plug-in base has a double hole pattern and a flat base, and is therefore suitable for various pit and concrete foundations.

Valve technology

The automatic YB valve regulates water pressure, throughput and airflow on the snow lance. All components are designed for 100 bar water pressure. Opening and closing circuits ensure water draining and venting, thus preventing ice formation. The valve has a patented closing mechanism which guarantees automatic closure in the event of a power failure.
