L+Snow: The largest indoor ski dome in the world

In September 2024, the mega indoor ski hall L+Snow opened in Shanghai (CN). To this day, this is the largest indoor snow complex in the world, offering a total area covered in snow of over 90 000m2 to winter sport lovers or simple snow enthusiasts. For skiers and snowboarders, L+Snow has 3 ski runs, with the longest one offering a total 460m of fun, served by a detachable chair lift and a gondola. For non-skiers, younger or older, a snow playground nested in a mountain European-style village is also available to enjoy the fun of snow.

For the production of the snow, 33 snow guns, specially designed by TechnoAlpin for indoor snowmaking, including the renown and proven S6, have been installed on the slopes and on the playground to deliver the 54 000 m3 needed to operate this indoor ski hall.
 

With this project, TechnoAlpin demonstrated its expertise and skills in bringing the most efficient technical solutions to very specific snowmaking requirements.
